What does ambition mean to you?

Donor stories

A Gift Trust donor, The Namaste Foundation, recently made a donation to AmbitionNZ, a project that explores what ambition means in New Zealand. The project is collecting interviews with a diverse range of people to find out how we can improve our ambitions as Kiwis. If you’re interested you can contribute your ideas to their survey.

AmbitionNZ is a project that explores what ambition means in New Zealand. Ambition is interesting because how big we dream is a major determinant of how far we can go, in business, in government or in life.

One of our generous gift account holders, Namaste Foundation, recently made a $10,000 donation towards AmbitionNZ to support the work they are doing around the meaning of ambition for New Zealanders.

The project aims to understand how attitudes to ambition differ between people of different genders, ages, ethnicities, locations, and circumstances. Their goal is to support a national conversation about ambition that encourages more New Zealanders to be more ambitious about more things: not just sport, or business, but family and community life, music and the arts, the environment and our wider wellbeing

They anticipate making the results and the data from the survey available when they release a book at the end of this year.

If you want to be part of this data collection and contribute your ideas about what Ambition means for you, please click on the button below to be taken to their 15min survey.
