A generous anonymous donor through The Gift Trust has provided funding to set up an annual scholarship for a young New Zealander to attend the International Youth Initiative Program (YIP) in Sweden. The Gift Trust will be administering the scholarship and the aim is to help promising young New Zealanders to achieve their potential by attending the YIP Program in Järna, Sweden.

We are excited to announce the 2019 scholarship recipient is Saci Reily-Jasper. Congratulations to Saci! We will be posting her updates to this page when she completes the program.

What is YIP? YIP is a societal entrepreneurship training program that runs for 10 months based in Sweden. Watch their video below to learn more:

For our donors, the ultimate aim is to encourage New Zealand youth to become successful social and societal entrepreneurs. The scholarship is open to young people aged 18 – 28, who are residents of New Zealand, and provides over half the costs to attend the program in Sweden.

Scholarship details
