Welcome to the Effective Altruism NZ Fund, powered by The Gift Trust.
Effective Altruism is a philosophy and social movement that aims to do the most good that we can with our limited resources.
Our fund supports some of the organisations we think can do the most good per dollar, based on evidence from independent evaluators like GiveWell, Giving What We Can, Founders Pledge, and Open Philanthropy.
Areas of interest include:
- animal welfare
- global health and development
- safeguarding the long-term future
- global priorities research
